Sandwell Arts Festival
The Sandwell Arts Festival hit Wednesbury and Cape Hill last Friday by the way of The Lollipop Patrol – Beryl and Mavis were on hand to ensure the streets were safe and help people pass along the way – whether they needed it or not – complete with matching hi-viz jackets and eye shadow. They met quite a few retired ‘Real’ Lollipop ladies, one of who was very curious as to see who was on her patch. They also met an ex – female wrestler who went by the name of Big Daddy’s Daughter!
In West Bromwich shoppers were faced with the Fairly Famous Family ‘Lifeguards’ between Queen’s & King’s Shopping Centres.
