Gold Dust Premier
Last Friday saw a full house for the premier of Gold Dust by Deafinitely Theatre at the Deaf Cultural Centre in Birmingham.
After watching rehearsals in London a couple of weeks earlier I’d already had a taster, so was really excited.
The play was fantastic, very moving, I was glad I had some tissues in my bag, great story line, great actors…
At the end of the performance I was lucky enough to be involved in a conversation with a man from the deaf community who had told his stories about growing up, during workshops held earlier in the year, some of which had been used for the storyline.
You can see it for yourself at these venues – Please make sure you have a ticket before going to the venue as space is limited.
