End of an Era @ Rushall JMI
Friday was a busy day for me, Sandwell Arts Festival in the morning, Gold Dust in the evening and in between I had to go and help say ‘Farewell’ and ‘Good Luck’ to an original ambassador in the Young Promoters world. It was lovely to see so many people turn out to wish him well, there was a slide of pictures showing throughout, scanning his career, some tickled me – see pictures below!
Mr Cheminais, the headmaster @ Rushall JMI in Walsall is retiring after 16 Years at the school. I have only had the pleasure of working with him for the past 6 years as part of the Young promoters Scheme, but he was involved in the scheme from the beginning and has continued throughout to be supportive, so I’d like to thank him for that. During my time working with him he has become a personal friend so I will miss working with him, but I’m really looking forward to going to the school next term when I’ll be meeting a new group of Young Promoters and I’m very confident that the scheme will continue to be a success @ Rushall JMI.
